Dr. Roy Durbin received his Bachelor of Science Degree In Molecular Biology from the University of the State of New York. He received his Medical Degree from the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center in Denver, Co and served his residency at Fitzsimmons Army Medical Center in Aurora, CO. Dr. Durbin opened his practice in the older west side of Denver over 30th years ago. Dr. Durbin states "To meet patient needs, I have even become fairly proficient in Spanish!" Dr. "D", as his patients refer to him, has studied, taught and traveled extensively promoting care of diabetes.
Dr. Durbin is married, a father and grandfather. In addition to spending time with his family, his interests include supporting the CU football team as well as the Colorado Rockies. He enjoys playing the bagpipes, attending the Olympics, bow hunting and raising KOI fish.Philosophy - "Years ago, I decided to go into family practice because there are no two days alike. Each day presents different challenges including ages of patients, personalities, medical issues, and cultural diversity. I believe that medical care is a team effort and I look forward to patient involvement."
